Turquoise looks great with so many beads, from pearls to crystals! This pendant is stabilized, meaning that the genuine gemstone bead was treated with an epoxy to prevent it from breaking or changing colors. Try working with unstabilized turquoise and your likely to end up with a handful of broken pieces and dust. Please do NOT confuse this with synthetic or reconstituted beads. Stabilized turquoise is strong enough to use with wire, soft-flex, silk or cotton thread...just be sure to treat them gently and watch how much pressure you apply with your pliers! You will receive one large turquoise pendant bead. There are several pendants featured in this auction so you can see the possible variations in pattern.
